Affiliate Terms
The terms that govern your participation in the Unblock Affiliate Program.
This agreement contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to your participation as a member of the Unblock Affiliate Program (the “Program”), operated by Themeone (“we”, “us”, “our”), a French sole proprietorship. Please read it carefully before applying.
1. Approval or Rejection of the Application #
We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program application at our sole and absolute discretion. We may cancel your application if we determine that your channel is unsuitable for our Program. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your application.
2. Commissions and Payout #
Each time you refer a new customer who makes a qualifying purchase, you earn a commission. The current commission rate is 30% on the first purchase of any Unblock plan (Starter, Pro, Agency, or Lifetime).
No commission is paid on subscription renewals.
There is a limit of one commission per referred customer. If a referred customer makes multiple purchases, you will receive a commission on the first purchase only.
Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. You cannot refer yourself, and you will not receive a commission on your own purchases.
Commissions are paid monthly via our affiliate platform Tolt, after a 30-day holding period to account for refunds and chargebacks. The minimum payout threshold is $50. Commissions below this threshold are carried over to the next payment cycle.
Payments are only sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Transactions resulting in chargebacks or refunds will not be paid out.
3. Referral Cookie Lifetime #
When a potential customer clicks on your referral link, a cookie is stored in their browser to track the referral, subject to their consent. The cookie is stored for 30 days.
A referral will not be awarded if:
- The visitor declines the affiliate tracking consent banner.
- The customer uses a different browser to purchase than the one used to visit our site (the cookie does not exist there).
- The customer purchases after 30 days (the cookie has expired).
4. Affiliate Links and Promotion #
You may use graphic and text links on your website, in your email messages to your own subscribers, and on your social media channels.
You may promote Unblock through:
- Your own blog, website, or landing pages.
- YouTube videos and educational content.
- Newsletters and email marketing to your own subscribers.
- Social media accounts.
- Online courses, communities, and tutorials.
You may use the marketing assets we provide, or create your own as long as they comply with these terms. Our visual assets may only be modified with our prior consent.
5. Pay Per Click (PPC) Policy #
Paid advertising on the “Unblock”, “Unblock WP” brand name, or any close variations is strictly prohibited without prior written permission. This includes Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Bing Ads, and any other advertising platform.
You may not bid on Unblock-branded keywords, register Unblock-related domain names, or run ads that could be mistaken for our official communications.
6. Coupon and Deal Sites #
Unless you have been explicitly approved and assigned a branded coupon code by us, you may not:
- Promote Unblock on coupon, promo, or deal sites.
- Use misleading text implying coupons or discounts are available.
- Bid on “Unblock coupon”, “Unblock discount”, or similar phrases.
- Use cookie stuffing, pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, or any similar mechanism that sets affiliate cookies without explicit user action.
7. Termination #
Your affiliate status may be suspended or terminated immediately for any of the following reasons. If a sale was generated using any of these methods, you will not receive a commission:
- Inappropriate advertisements (false claims, misleading hyperlinks, deceptive content).
- Spam (mass unsolicited email, mass posting, fake reviews).
- Advertising on sites containing or promoting illegal, hateful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or adult content.
- Failure to disclose the affiliate relationship as required by FTC guidelines or equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Violation of intellectual property rights or unauthorized use of the Unblock trademarks.
- Offering rebates, unapproved coupons, or kickbacks from your commission as an incentive.
- Self-referrals, fraudulent transactions, or suspected fraud.
In addition to the foregoing, Themeone reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at any time, for any violation of this Agreement or for no reason at all.
8. Refunded Purchases #
Commissions are paid out after a 30-day holding period. If a purchase is refunded during this period or later, the commission will not be paid out (or will be reversed if already paid).
We reserve the right to reject affiliate commissions for any reason, including:
- The sale was refunded.
- The sale was a subscription renewal, not a new license purchase.
- The referral was generated in violation of these terms.
9. Dormant Accounts #
An affiliate account is considered dormant if no visits or sales have been generated for a 6-month period. Dormant accounts may be temporarily deactivated.
Commissions above the minimum payout threshold of $50 remain payable. Commissions below the minimum payout threshold may be forfeited after deactivation.
If we deactivate your account due to dormancy, you can reapply to the Program at any time.
10. Affiliate Account and Data Processing #
Your Affiliate account is technically managed by our processor Tolt, Inc. (Delaware, USA) on our behalf. By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that your account data, tracking data, and payment information are stored and processed by Tolt in the United States, in compliance with applicable GDPR safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Tolt handles payment processing, tax form collection (W-8/W-9), and invoice issuance directly with you. See the Tolt Privacy Policy and our Privacy Policy for details on data processing.
You are solely responsible for declaring your affiliate income to your local tax authorities and complying with applicable tax obligations.
11. Liability #
Themeone will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any results of intents of harm to the Program or our website(s).
We do not make any expressed or implied warranties with respect to the Program. We make no claim that the operation of the Program will be error-free, and we will not be liable for any interruptions or errors.
12. Indemnification #
Affiliate shall indemnify and hold harmless Themeone and its officers and employees from any and all liabilities, damages, claims, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to claims sustained in connection with this Agreement due to the negligence, misrepresentation, failure to disclose, or intentional misconduct of the Affiliate.
13. Term and Modifications #
This Agreement begins upon our acceptance of your application and continues until terminated by either party.
Themeone may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email to active affiliates at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Themeone may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause.
14. Governing Law #
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, you agree to contact Themeone first to seek an amicable resolution.
